What We Do

Creative Ignition designs and delivers programmes that put the creative arts at the heart of learning: in schools, academy trusts and education settings of every kind. Every programme is built around your setting, your people and your priorities. Nothing is delivered off a shelf.

Each programme is co-designed with the educators who know their learners best. Each has clear learning objectives. And each is delivered by professional artists, directors, composers, choreographers and designers.

We call them Creative Igniters: professionals who know how to bring creative learning to life.

And learning doesn’t stop at the school gate, so neither do we. The same methods work anywhere ideas matter, from industry and training to public institutions.

Our Programmes

Creative residencies. CPD in creative methods. And a growing library of Creative Ignition toolkits: step-by-step resources that give educators the methods, materials and confidence to embed the creative arts in their own practice, whatever their arts experience.

All programmes are inclusive by design and accessible to learners of all abilities, including those with SEND.

And every programme is evaluated. Creativity deserves the same rigour we demand of everything else in education.

What Makes Us Different

A Creative Ignition programme is a professional team of artists working alongside teachers, making something real with the children: from a single workshop day to a week-long festival.

The people leading it are award-winning composers, professional singer-directors, and experienced set and costume designers. Children work with genuine creative expertise, not a diluted version of it.

And every programme is grounded in pedagogy. Our Creative Igniters are trained in safeguarding, classroom practice and curriculum alignment. Artistically ambitious. Educationally rigorous.

Testimonials

“They took a hard idea, that AI is a tool, not a friend, and made primary children feel it. By the end of the week, 89% were confident talking about AI. One pupil summed it up: humans are special in every way, and AI can’t stop that. We would recommend Creative Ignition without hesitation.”
Chris Goodall, Data & Digital Innovation Director, Bourne Education Trust

“This session really made me think about the ways in which we can deliver knowledge and skills to our children in a more exciting and creative way, using methods that I wouldn’t have considered before.”
